In depth

Verdict

Generous Option and Tagula Sunrise would probably prefer a little more cut in the ground but the extra furlong should bring about the necessary improvement in the former and we will stick with him on this occasion. The son of Cadeaux Genereux has always looked as if he might need a bit further than the six furlongs he has been campaigned over. He was outpointed fair and square over that trip on Saturday but he was clear of the remainder. Tagula Sunrise is another to try seven furlongs for the first time. She was beaten under hold-up tactics last time out so it will be interesting to see if changes are made this afternoon. Sea Hunter looks to have achieved a high handicap mark for not doing a lot. Unbacked on a first outing this year, it will be interesting to see if there is any money today. Jane Jubilee is a previous winner at this course having scored here as a juvenile. She does not look to be the first string on this occasion. Generous Option secures our selection in a modest entry given the decent prizemoney on offer.
