DHHAMAAN can be the man in this handicap, while Nufoudh also has very strong claims and Johnny Lesters Hair is another for the short-list. The last-named is 4lbs worse off with Nufoudh than when Tracy Waggott's gelding beat him two lengths here last month. On that basis, they are weighted to finish very close here, and with both relishing trip and ground it is a tough rematch to call. Stellite has three course and distance wins to his name and is now back on a very competitive mark, so has to be respected from a stable going well, while Cils Blanc is interesting after a break. Even so, we will side with Dhhamaan. Ruth Carr's gelding was an eased-down winner of what was admittedly a very moderate contest at Newcastle last time, for which he has been put up by 8lbs. He has not won off this sort of mark for quite some time, but recent efforts have been very consistent and now that his latest win has come it looks like paying to stay on the right side of him today.
