Commando Scott gets the call here ahead of Sky Crusader and Will He Wish. Sky Crusader wasn't beaten far in Newbury's Spring Cup last time and at least comes here fit and well. Lord Of The East is also fit but he will need a career best in order to score. Will He Wish is in the same boat, although he comes here on the back of a good run, while Prince Tum Tum would be a shoo-in on the best of his efforts of the last three years but the overall feeling is that he is opposable here, while Vicious Knight also needs to find a pound or two on Turf. Byron Bay's best has so far come on the all-weather, and Dispol Katie is struggling to win from her current mark. Although softer going might suit him better, Commando Scott comes here in good heart and seems to be on a fair mark. Finally, we could not build a strong case for Stoic Leader but Regent's Secret has dropped to mark that is just three pounds above a winning one. Overall, though, we prefer the look of Commando Scott.
