      Verdict

Monsieur is an interesting runner given his connections but is hard to recommend on all known form and a safer bet looks to be Bonny Boy, who is preferred to Bekstar. The selection is nothing out of the ordinary but at least comes here in good form and is taken to defy his latest rise in the weights. Zeloso is capable but could probably do with some help from the handicapper, while Yaiyna Tango has not had a great deal of racing for a horse of his age and could be of interest in a race as weak as this. Watermouse was outpaced over two miles last time and Towcester and should appreciate the return to this trip, while Thornton Bridge is less exposed than most and has to be respected given that there may be more to come from him. They Grabbed Me has given little cause for optimism of late but the Pipe horses are running better now so he could be better than recent form suggests. Bekstar is capable of taking a hand but is rather inconsistent and a safer option looks to be Bonny Boy, who is taken to follow up his recent Plumpton success.
