Cava Bien deserves to get his head in front in a race of this nature after showing respectable form in similar company but may again have to settle for a minor role with preference for Tritonville Lodge, who gets the vote ahead of Dusty Dane. The selection was disappointing at Chepstow last time but he may have needed that run after a three-month break and his earlier form makes Emma Lavelle's gelding the pick of the weights. Brendan Powell's Palace Walk faces no easy task under a double penalty, while Tavalu lacks any hurdling experience and is hard to back with any confidence. Lord of Adventure has ability but has given little sign of encouragement of late and a bigger threat is likely to come from Bill Turner's Dusty Dane, who ran well in a handicap last time. Tritonville Lodge holds solid claims on the pick of his form though and he gets the vote.
