In depth

Verdict

Watch the betting for clues but, without that, Kaladar gets the call over Joseph Locke, Kunte Kinteh and Tencendur. Avertuoso needs to improve on his debut effort. Joseph Locke showed improvement from run one to two and could have more to come on today's better going than for those efforts. The well-bred Kaladar and the Dandy Nicholls-trained Kunte Kinteh are interesting newcomers, while Mark Johnston's Tencendur comes into it based on his Bath debut effort. Just a seven-runner affair but an interesting one for all that with the vote given to Kaladar, given a good market vibe.
