Silent Storm looks good enough to land this seller, with Kirkby's Treasure perhaps his chief rival and Fairy Monarch another up for consideration. Silent Storm is still a maiden on turf, having won all five of his races on the all weather at distances from 6f to a mile. However, he is more than capable of landing this now he is dropped in class and comfortably the best of at the weights here. Kirkby's Treasure is more of a mile specialist than the selection, but has been plummeting through the weights. His last two outings have seen him get much closer and now that he sinks to this level he would definitely have a big chance, especially if the selection is under par. Fairy Monarch was a c&d scorer last October but has been in the handicapper's grip ever since. Trip and ground suit and the way the weights are framed here gives him more chance than most. Andorran and Beamsley Beacon are capable of getting involved but for the winner we return to Silent Storm.
