Already a course winner here, Rose Siog has a chance to add to that success at the track in this competitive nursery, with Longoria likely to be a player and Firenza Bond and Glenluji others for the short list. The selection took a maiden over this trip here on debut. Since then she was not disgraced in the Hilary Needler before another decent effort in a class 3 nursery at York last time. The return to a sound surface should help her cause and her overall solid form looks good enough in context here. Longoria got her act together at the third time of asking at Yarmouth last time. Granted, that was only a seller, but the manner of that success suggested that she had got the hang of the game and could go well in better company. She gets that chance here. Firenza Bond was a soft ground Chester winner last time when he showed plenty of guts to land his maiden. This is a trickier proposition and he did not go well when tried at the track before so the jury is out. Of the others Glenluji's defeat of Prigsnov Dancer over c&d has worked out well enough and there may be more to come from him, but preference is for Rose Siog, who can make class tell.
