Mistress Greeley, Pivotal Queen and Fareeha form the shortlist in this maiden fillies stakes and the vote is given to Mistress Greeley. The selection is a well-bred filly from the Sir Michael Stoute yard and she will not have to be anything out of the ordinary to get her head in front today. Her yard are in good form at the moment and they have a decent strike-rate with their 2-year-olds so she should be up to making a winning racecourse debut. Pivotal Queen looks the best of those with racecourse experience as she was a close third behind Shaker on her debut. She made a favourable impression that day and if she can show nominal improvement then she will not be far away at the finish. Fareeha is a well-bred filly from the John Gosden yard and the stable have a 23% strike-rate with their two-year-olds this season so she is certainly worth a look in the market. The fact that the stable are flying with their runners at present is another big plus. Cosenza has shaped with promise on each of her two runs so far and she did improve from her debut last time behind Edge Of Light at Salisbury. However, this race could go to a newcomer and we will side with Mistress Greeley to get her head in front.
