        Verdict

        MUBTAAHIJ and Keen Ice are the stand-out performers here and actually met in the Belmont Stakes where they occupied the minor berths behind the brilliant American Pharoah. Keen Ice finished just in front of Mike De Kock's charge that day and had gained a shock victory over the Triple Crown winner in the Travers Stakes at Saratoga earlier so there's nothing between them but the selection's experience of the track, he won the opening race on this card a year ago, may just give him the edge. Gun Pit has some strong recent form in Hong Kong while Watershed showed on his debut here a month ago that he should be winning soon though he's been beaten when tackling top class in the USA. Several of the remainder have been running very well in handicaps but take a big step-up in grade.
