Verdict
Astigos came good dropped to this trip at Wetherby last month. He's only 5lb higher but will probably face a battle for the lead from the tough and consistent Pearls Legend and that could set the race up for a finisher. MOUNTAIN KING was less than three lengths behind Pearls Legend at Newbury in November and is now 9lb better off. He's reunited with Richard Johnson today and can pick up the winning thread again with a clear round. Upsilon Bleu is starting to come down the weights and would have a chance on last season's form but Yorkist generally struggles in this grade and Ulis De Vassy hasn't raced since August.
