This has a tricky feel to it, with none of the runners in great form, although Mary Reveley's Business Class, the lightly weighted Parish Oak, and the consistent Guilsborough Gorse, who gets our vote, make most appeal. Guilsborough Gorse is a much better animal on fast ground and so should be at home under the prevailing conditions. Tom Walford's charge posted victories at Wetherby and Hexham last year and looks ready to resume winning ways shortly judged on his recent effort at Hexham. Business Class comes from a stable that does well here but is the oldest in the line up, while Parish Oak cannot be discounted, although he would prefer softer ground. City Gent is a course winner and is lightly weighted but has not really shown enough to be seriously considered.
