Verdict

Expensive Art, Velocitys Gift and Magroom look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the vote is given to Expensive Art. The selection won well last time out when beating Lay The Cash. Granted he is rising in the weights but he won with plenty in hand and he is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that should suit. Velocitys Gift rates the main danger as he has shaped with promise in three maidens to date. He enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and should be watched in the market. Magroom is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he just gave the impression that the handicapper had caught up with him when fourth behind Nelly's Glen last time and he is opposed with this in mind. Of the remainder, Carlitos Spirit is from a yard in form and is sure to have come on for his latest run but he is another that looks weighted up to his best, and with this in mind for the winner we return to Expensive Art who looks to be going the right way.
