The three-year-old COMADOIR showed improved form in a course and distance handicap last month when making all from a high draw, winning comfortably and that is a success that Jo Cowley's colt is taken to supplement with success here in a race where the main dangers are rated as Onceaponatime and Whiskey Junction. Mick Quinn's gelding has won his last two starts, latterly in a claimer at Kempton, and he may struggle back in a handicap off a mark 3lbs higher than when scoring at Bath previously. Walter Swinburn's Tagula Night is less exposed than most of these after just four career starts and can race off just a 4lb higher mark than when making a winning return on his handicap debut at Windsor earlier this month. He rates a bigger threat than Hugh Morrison's Spring Green, who is probably better over the minimum trip. Dvinsky could probably do with some help from the handicapper and of more interest may be Onceaponatime, who has been running consistently well of late and he has to be respected. Comadoir has an obvious chance following his impressive win here last time and he can follow up that success.
