An older horse maiden that can go the way of BARALAKA ahead of Blitzed and Viewing. Although Sir Mark Prescott normally puts his improvers straight into handicaps, this son of Barathea takes in another maiden on this first start of the year, albeit over a much more suitable trip. Perhaps his trainer feels that an official rating of 77 is too high but his form over shorter trips reads fairly well and it was only at the end of his races that he was getting going. The obvious threat is Viewing who ran Marie De Guise to within a couple of lengths at Nottingham on debut. She should have learnt plenty from that and is open to even more improvement over this longer trip. Now What, Budding Daffodil and Marcus Antonius will all be eligible for handicaps after this run, so a bigger threat could be Blitzed whose reappearance run may not have delighted backers of the 2/1 chance but nevertheless it was still a fair comeback. Kuantan Two looks like he needs more time, so this race can go to Baralaka.
