Top weight may not be a big enough barrier to stop FOXTROT ALPHA getting the better of the progressive Kuanyao. There may also be more to come from Whisky Jack, even though he keeps creeping up the weights without actually winning. William Muir has his string in good order, though. And, having performed well over this intermediate trip in the past, Whiskey Jack has a solid chance of at least making the frame. Kuanyao showed great improvement to win on his handicap debut at Salisbury at the start of this month. This trip isn't expected to be any problem for him and the mount of Fergus Sweeney is expected to be the biggest threat to the selection. Even so, Foxtrot Alpha has already proved himself capable in stiffer company than he faces tonight and, as the assessor has already cut him some slack, this might be the right time to give Foxtrot Alpha another chance.
