Roger Charlton has placed several of his string to good effect this week and can pick up again with Drive Me Wild, who makes plenty of appeal in this company. Missie Baileys and Muddy are others to note in the betting, while Thorny Mandate may still have more to offer and makes some appeal as an each-way hope. Muddy was not beaten far at Epsom nine days ago and has claims if repeating that effort today. Still, he is not the most consistent individual and cannot confidently be relied upon to give his all in a finish. Missie Baileys has solid form to her name on the All Weather and is on a fair mark at present. However, her turf form leaves a little to be desired and she may be vulnerable near the finish. Therefore, we prefer to go with Drive Me Wild, who is far less exposed than the rest and starts her handicap career on a featherweight this evening. Her trainer has an excellent knowledge of the form book and this daughter of Indian Ridge looks the latest to benefit from a shrewd bit of placement.
