Some real characters are set to come into opposition here and there has to be the suspicion that the form will not amount to much in the future. However, Mush is very well treated by the terms of this race and has to be high on the shortlist for betting plans. Nick Littmoden's charge is not the easiest of rides though, and his inability to quicken close home last time could be his undoing if he is again found wanting at this trip. Eucalyptus is another to have reservations about and despite being well drawn; he may again just set the race up for those coming from off the pace. Magic Rainbow, Easter Ogil and Lay Down Sally all make some appeal on the pick of their efforts. But Moayed finished his race with a wet sail last here last time, and has is not faced with too difficult a task for his follow up bid. The four-year-old is still lightly raced and now may be the time to catch him whilst his confidence is on a high.
