NICKEL SILVER is in the form of his life and is taken to defy a 6lb penalty to complete a hat-trick here, while After The Show looks best of the rest. Trainer Bryan Smart has good his string going tremendously well at present and Nickel Silver has underlined that with wins over this, the minimum trip, at both Wolverhampton and also here. The manner of his latest success, when he outgunned Ridley Didley in fine style, suggested that he may still be ahead of the handicapper, so we will side with him. After The Show is now back on a handy mark, having won here over course and distance from 3lbs higher in the past. His recent form is perfectly respectable and he should go close today. Caribbean Coral is also on an attractive mark, having won on turf off 8lbs higher last summer. However, he still has to prove he has the same liking for the Polytrack as for the green stuff and we will take a watching brief until we see more from the old boy. Bluebok has plenty to find with the selection on their last two runnings, but money for Saville's Delight would be interesting after a recent pipe opener and with the yard going pretty well. Even so Nickel Silver is red hot at present and he can complete a hat-trick.
