A poor maiden which is not for dwelling long upon and we'll take CHEAP THRILLS to land it from Princess Cagliari and Uncle Brit. The selection is no more than tentative, but Jamie Osborne's most recent runner went well and this filly performed with credit when last seen making the frame here over 5f in a maiden last August. She will hopefully have strengthened pretty well in the winter and should appreciate the slightly longer distance, and with any improvement she could be the one. Uncle Brit is a Sir Mark Prescott-trained debutante and the Newmarket maestro is not known for having first-time winners. Pedigree also suggests that the colt will be better when tried over further, so unless there is a major market move for him we will take a watching brief. Princess Cagliari got as close as she has to winning over this trip at Kempton last time and on that basis she'd have to have a chance here, but she lacks toe at the business end, so we'll take her on. Amosite is proving hard to get a win out of and even with the reapplication of headgear we don't want to be with the filly, while Richard Hannon's runners are not red hot and Rich Red has to overcome a five month break. We will oppose him and the remainder in the hope of some Cheap Thrills.
