Rebel City has plenty of experience but has not been easy to win with and we'll take him on with debutante SOHO SECRETS. The selection represents the bang-in-form Mark Johnston yard, and should be fit and firing for this first racecourse appearance. Pedigree suggests that this is an ideal trip over which to start her and we will take the chance that she is ready for today. Rebel City has not been far away on his last three starts over both this trip and 6f, but with the exception of one run he has struggled to find a bit of toe close to home. It would be no surprise if he were good enough to win, given his experience, but we are prepared to take him on at likely cramped odds. Dollar Express is another nicely bred debutante and Jeremy Noseda has one win from just two runners in 2009. This also looks a good distance over which to start the colt and a bold showing is anticipated. Cousin Charlie is improving slowly and there looks to be a race in both he and the filly Why Nee Amy, but for today we will take Soho Secrets to score.
