MANSHOOR can complete a hat-trick here at the main expense of Invention and Art Man. The selection loves it here, having won over 1m 4f and also 10f last time, going up 10lbs in the process. That most recent win looks to be a bonus, as this longer trip is much more likely to bring out the best in Lucy Wadham's gelding, and he is taken to make it three from three now stepped up to a distance over which he is unexposed. Invention put up a very good effort when runner up over 12f at Bath last time and receives over a stone from the selection. On balance, however, his form is not as solid and with just one win from 19 starts he is easy enough to take on. Art Man is 4lbs better off with the selection for less than two lengths when they met here last time, and as a course winner he is not ruled out, although he is not certain to be suited by this far and has stamina to prove. One that will definitely get home is William's Way, who is an interesting booking for Seb Sanders from what should be a competitive mark, while Bassinet is another who could go close now the handicapper has given him a chance, but preference is for Manshoor.
