Not many in red hot form here and THE GALLOPING SHOE is the one for us, while Barricado and More Time Tim are others short listed. The Jeremy Noseda-trained pick won a maiden over this trip on debut at Brighton last year and was then put away until last month, when he beat all but one home at Windsor. He will probably get a bit further in time, although a mile looks ideal for now, and there is no reason why he won¿t act on the Polytrack. The yard has a good strike rate and hopefully this can add to its tally. Barricado was ponderous from the stalls at Catterick last time and did not look an easy ride, although the penny seemed to drop eventually and he was doing all of his best work at the business end over 7f. Today¿s step up to a mile should therefore see him thereabouts. More Tim Tim ran up a hat-trick before traffic problems saw him comfortably accounted for at Southwell last time. This trip looks ideal, although the jury is out on his first try on the Polytrack. Fiefdom is back on a winning mark, but 7f looks his best distance. Astrodonna is not ruled out of making an improved performance, but we will take The Galloping Shoe to score.
