Satelcom is turned out quickly under a 6lb penalty after his win here over a mile earlier in the week and can follow up that latest success. Trained by Noel Chance, who is better known for his handling of jumpers in this country, the selection should again have the beating of Agilis (holds Hoh Investor on earlier form) who finished behind the son of Alhaarth over course and distance last month. Topweight Devious Boy is an unknown in terms of handling the surface and has an absence to overcome, a comment that also applies to Gerard Butler's unexposed Musselburgh winner Compton Emperor. However, it would be no surprise to see either horse take a hand in the finish given their respective trainer's knack of finding all-weather winners. Wages should find this tougher than the maiden he won last time, a victory the handicapper has seen fit to raise the horse 2lbs for. Southwell maiden winner Voluptuous is difficult to evaluate on her handicap debut but with Jamie Osborne's yard in good form is impossible to ignore, while Sylvester Kirk's three representatives, Just Fly, Blue Trojan and Captain Hardy, all warrant respect.
