This looks a low quality affair at first look, with MACKTEN given a tentative vote ahead of Theologist and Little Calla. Theologist has been highly tried on two starts to date at Newmarket, and this is a much easier task. However, he looks certain to benefit from a longer trip, being a son of Galileo. Little Calla showed distinct promise first time out but failed to build on that next time, being a beaten favourite. Not seen this year, a watching brief is advised. Mackten has only had one outing but he stayed on well at Folkestone two weeks ago to be third. With doubts about the quality of his opponents here, normal progress can see Mackten score.
