Lochstar, Princess Rose Anne and Even Bolder are the three against the field in this competitive affair with LOCHSTAR, a son of Lochsong, the selection. Even Bolder looks sure to run his race, though his last win was in August, he has been running in some quality contests and has not been beaten far despite his losing run. He may need to drop down the handicap to return to winning form however. Princess Rose Anne was chasing a hat trick last time but was beaten into seventh, only beaten under four lengths at Goodwood. She also needs to come down the weights. Lochstar is awinner here on the all-weather surface and makes his seasonal debut. He finished off last season with a very decent effort at Ascot, and like his dam, may well improve with age. Lochstar can take this en route to living up to his name.
