SPINNING BAILIWICK is up a stone in the ratings but looks worth the rise and can land the hat-trick from Spoof Master and Monsieur Reynard. Gary Moore's charge won eased down from the in-form Elusive Ronnie last time over six furlongs here but had shown that five holds no terrors when winning at Kempton prior to that. Up fully 14lbs in the ratings today life will be much tougher but the manner of both successes suggests this improving three-year-old is worth siding with again against an exposed bunch. Monsieur Reynard ran well off this mark when touched off at Wolverhampton last time and rates the chief threat as that looked a more competitive race than this one, whilst Spoof Master gamely held on off a career-low mark last time and, with confidence possibly restored, could run another big race. Ten Down looks well treated but has looked woefully out of sorts of late and so a bigger danger to our shortlist might be Pinball who was a shade unlucky last time although the drop back to five furlongs is enough to pass over that one whilst Jolly Ranch is running well but is poorly weighted with Spoof Master. A modest bunch in the main with the exception looking to be the progressive Spinning Bailiwick who gets our vote.
