Loyal Royal has claims but isn't one to trust implicitly so we'll take him on with the filly AGNES LOVE, with Lord Deevert another set to be involved. Our selection was a shade disappointing last time but a return to Lingfield's six furlongs will suit; in three course and distance efforts she's placed twice. Indeed that was the case on her latest outing here which came off this mark and with a strong jockey-booking to boot she'll do for us. Lord Deevert is a three-time course and distance winner who doesn't stay a yard further than six furlongs so recent efforts over further are easily forgiven and on his winter handicap form he's weighted to strike soon, but for one who likes to race up with the pace he could've landed a better draw. Loyal Royal got bumped when making his effort late on at Wolverhampton but he may not have won anyway as he's the type to find a way of getting beaten, which is why we'll take him on off the same mark. Hart Of Gold hasn't won for almost two years, Equinity lacks a change of gear for this trip and Mind The Monarch is a modest maiden. Calabaza and Boundless Applause have work on racing from out of the weights, Ever Cheerful is better over seven and is another without a win since 2008 while Novastasia is out of form, so the vote goes to Agnes Love.
