Kodiac Star comes out best at the weights and has stall one to assist but we prefer the more solid credentials of CHILWORTH LASS; Molly Piccles, Bendigedig and Minus Tolerance are others who enter calculations. Mick Channon's filly seemed to improve for the fitting of a visor when second last time and she won't be inconvenienced by a drop back to six furlongs. While a rating of 53 leaves her something to find, unlike some of the other market principles she does look up to her current mark and from a good draw can land the odds. Kodiac Star tries cheek-pieces for the first time and her best form has come at six furlongs but one try in selling company resulted in a comprehensive defeat and she arrives seemingly out of sorts. Molly Piccles is another in first-time headgear with blinkers now on and she could well improve for a yard going well, Bendigedig is clearly not up to a mark of 57 judging by her recent nursery run but does have course experience while Minus Tolerance has the bonus of Kieren Fox's claim but was virtually pulled-up at Bath and needs to bounce back quickly. This is a race that's thrown up two 33/1 winners in the last three years, but the 2010 renewal can prove altogether more straightforward by going to Chilworth Lass.
