Eastern Light produced a couple of fine runs early in the season but hasn't made the expected progress and was beaten at odds of 4/11 at Bellewstown last time. Tom Sawyer stayed on under pressure in a decent Cork maiden won by Katla on Sunday and may do better over further but Jamesie, who finished just in front of him, should be suited by the minimum as he led for much of the way. BAD ROMANCE is the pick on form and there's no reason to believe he won't progress enough to take this after an excellent opening run behind Ladie's Choice at Naas where he stayed on strongly in the closing stages.
