Jades Promise looks to have been given a fine chance by the Handicapper, on this return to the Polytrack, having failed to show his best on Southwell's Fibresand surface. John Best's four-year-old looks sure to have a big say in this. The lightly raced Perfect Punch is sure to be sharper for his outing here last month, having been off the course for nearly a year. It is interesting that Jimmy Fortune has retained the mount and this step up in trip can only be in his favour, so he gets the vote to win a trappy contest. Mostarsil has more to do under his penalty than when awarded a race here last week, but that was his first outing since November and he can be expected to strip a little sharper here.
