Verdict

Winning pointer Bold Tactics shaped well enough on his debut over regulation fences to suggest he can make his mark at this game. He should be better suited by the drying ground and must go well. However, the choice is unbeaten pointer Lord Atterbury, who hails from the powerful David Pipe yard. Bomba Charger has bits and pieces of form and could run into a place, while others to consider include Longstone Boy, who will be all the better for his recent outing, and Tricky Trevor, who has been in good form in points of late.
