A maximum turnout for this two-miler and last years favourite Red Rebel gets a chance to make amends for last years disappointment, where he was badly hampered and lost his rider. He also held an entry later on in the day and the hint should be taken. Alpha Romana, a winner at the Cheltenham Hunter-chase meeting last year, is clearly effective over this trip and connections will be hoping the rain stays away. If so, he is sure to make his presence felt. Route One was some way behind Alpha Romana that day, but he ruined his chance with some sloppy fencing. He is better judged on his second to Sol Music last year and a reproduction of that effort would see him in the shake up.
