A competitive heat with not that much to choose between these on official ratings. King's Thought impressed when winning here last week, with a couple of todays rivals behind. Both Voice Mail, who was third and African Sahara (5th), are better off at the weights, but it would be no surprise if King's Thought came out the best of that trio again. Amaranth looks to be on the downgrade nowadays, while Denis Our Menace looks to have something to prove now after finishing stone last in his last two outings. Roy Mcavoy has been in good form here since the turn of the year, picking up a couple of races along the way, but he looks to have a little to find in this company. Golden Spectrum has more ability than he cares to show, but a case can be made for Frankskips, who is open to improvement having just had the seven outings to date. A winner over course and distance, he is sure to figure at the business end, but a chance is taken with Treetops Hotel, who was given a mountain to climb last time. He has the useful apprentice Neil Chalmers taking 5lbs off his back and gets the vote.
