Schoolboy Error and New Abbey Angel are possibly the ones to note on pure form but this is a contest that looks ripe for one of a number of unexposed sorts to improve significantly now attentions are turned to handicapping. Hayward Field for Roger Varian, Sixties Groove for the Noseda team and Andrew Balding's Lady Blanco all fall into the unexposed and open to improvement category but over the years this has been the sort of contest that Sir Mark Prescott has targeted and his ALL THE RAGE can continue the trend. The underrated Rosie Jessop claims a useful 3lb on the Dubawi filly who was sent off at massive prices on each of her three starts last term, showing her first real sign of ability when a staying-on sixth at Wolverhampton on the last of those runs. She's sure to improve both for the step-up in trip and also for a winter on her back and, like so many stable inmates, can now start making up for lost time.
