As is often the case at Leicester a number of high-powered yards unveil well-bred newcomers of obvious potential with the likes of Hyde Park, Jumira Prince, Thunder Snow and plenty of others all requiring a major market check. The aforementioned trio make most appeal on paper, especially the Gosden colt, a son of Oasis Dream, who is clearly ready to run having been withdrawn recently from a prior engagement. Royal Ascot may well beckon for one or more of this field but experience remains important in such contests and Newmarket runner-up EVERGATE makes most appeal of those to have run and can progress again for a yard which remains in high form. Juan Horsepower and Equity are are also respected on the back of debut runs, especially the latter for whom everything went wrong on his initial outing here. He was well supported that day and major improvement is anticipated.
