      Verdict

      Several with claims in the opener including Sidewinder, a runner-up at Pontefract last month. Conistone went close at Thirsk on her debut while Who Told Jo Jo won at Ripon in April but found one too good under a penalty back at the same track last time. PLEASELETMEWIN (NAP) was never in contention when fourth behind Yalta at Goodwood on his introduction but the winner and the runner-up have both gone in since and Ralph Beckett’s charge has an easier task today.
