In depth

Verdict

Another tightly-knit 3-y-o handicap to unpick with NIBRAS GALAXY taken to follow up a pleasing success at Redcar when the Nathaniel colt did well to win after not receiving the clearest of passages. He looks the sort to maintain his improvement and just gets the nod over Immortal Romance, who swooped late to score at Yarmouth last time under Jamie Spencer who will no doubt seek to emulate those tactics here. Tiffin Top is a likely improver along with Ghazan, while the likes of I'm A Star, Sweet Charity and Robinson Crusoe have all displayed a sufficient level of form to suggest they can prove competitive at this Class 5 level. Keep an eye on Ashington too in the market on this seasonal reappearance in first-time cheekpieces with Atzeni booked.
