Verdict

Something of a lottery to open proceedings with Global Spirit one to consider on his fourth at Newmarket and Port Of Call finishing closer at Windsor on his handicap debut. Jeopardy John and Knockout Blow were both placed over shorter trips last time with the former preferred while better is expected from Godolphin’s Al Mustashar as he goes handicapping for the first time. BEACHWALK was narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton in October though faded badly in the closing stages in heavy ground at Leicester on his return. But Ryan Moore keeps faith and he gets another chance back on the all-weather.
