    Verdict

Murqaab obviously sets the form standard with his recent close second at Doncaster when still looking green. He should give a solid account here and the experience gained will be valuable but we'll take him on with BALLISTIC. One of two Robert Cowell entries, the booking of Jim Crowley takes the eye on the son of Kodiac who shaped with a degree of promise on debut behind Jackstar at the Newmarket Craven meeting. The form of the race is working out well and a strong run expected with normal improvement. The market should help to point the way with the newcomers, of which Blyton, also a son of Kodiac, and Secret Venture, by Kyllachy, make most appeal on paper.
