Verdict

QUICK RECOVERY remains open to improvement after just eight starts and it looks a sensible move to step him back up to a seventh furlong. He's been finishing his races off well and proved he handles quick conditions with a solid effort at Yarmouth latest. He has been somewhat tardy out of the stalls recently but hopefully he'll be close enough to produce his customary late thrust. Stable companion Following Breeze has prospects off the bottom rung but the lightly-raced Gainsay and the consistent but exposed maiden Medici Oro make greater appeal as prospective threats with the latter nominated as the prime danger. He continues to perform well as is perhaps unlucky not to have shed his maiden tag by now.
