Walter Swinburn and Jim Boyle both have their horses in good form however we are more inclined to side with DIVINATORE ahead of Mutually Mine and Achromatic. Derek Haydn-Jones saddles the selection who is a son of Sakhee. His progeny have shown a tendency to improve with age and this gelding has already shown that he has ability. This mark of 68 looks fair considering he was about two lengths off a 74-rated animal last time, and if the market agrees then he should run a big race. Mutually Mine has no problem with quick ground and she ran very well in defeat behind the well-treated Green Agenda at Thirsk last week. Wunder Strike has been holding his form well but he has a hard task from 3lb out of the weights, so a bigger threat may be Achromatic. Rated 60 for this first foray into handicap company, the gelding needs to step up on what we have seen so far but with the stable in great form that is not inconceivable. Similar comments apply to Gwerthybyd, whilst Surprise Party may well find improvement for this longer trip and quicker ground. The finale can go the way of Divinatore.
