Winker Watson had no real excuses last time and we are inclined to take him on again with ASSET who is preferred to Beaver Patrol. The Godolphin Blue is yet to be carried to victory this season but Asset holds a strong chance here on ground that looks sure to suit. He was not beaten too far on his final appearance in February at Nad Al Sheba and shaped as if the return to seven furlongs today would not be against him. Winker Watson is clear on the ratings but Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt was well-held at Warwick. That looked a golden opportunity and it would appear that this once-precocious two-year-old has regressed into a more modest individual. Regal Parade seems to go on any ground and he won't mind this step back up in trip, Racer Forever now has plenty of experience but the six-year-old doesn't have as many wins to his name as perhaps he should have although he does have a good record fresh. Beaver Patrol needs to bounce back to form, whilst Vitznau has run well in defeat twice this season. Not an easy race to work out but preference is for Asset.
