Close To Paradise is a speculative pick versus Jennifer's Dream and Meridian Line in the fillies nursery. Ed Dunlop's charge ran much better than anticipated at Doncaster and although her ability to act on today's surface has to be taken somewhat on trust, she won readily when tried at the track previously. Jennifer's Dream is sure to be popular as a last time out winner. She posted a fair time figure at Ripon despite the race not being the greatest contest to have ever been staged at the North Yorkshire track. Meridian Line was punished heavily for an all-the-way win at Bath and the handicapper has been typically slow to drop her down for a comprehensive defeat. Longoria invariably runs well versus her ability. Nylla's better form has obtained on slower surfaces whilst Feisty Royale bombed badly on handicap debut and has it to prove. Little Firecracker is difficult to get too much of a form angle upon so the market is observed closely. Close To Paradise is not without questions but at the likely odds, we will give her the opportunity to answer them.
