Torquemada, Piper's Song and Trinculo appear the trio to concentrate upon and Torquemada gets the vote. The recent course-and-distance winner appeared to win with something in hand and as he won't attract a penalty if successful here, connections appear to have campaigned him with a couple of future races in mind. Piper's Song is tried again in the visor after a fair effort last time out. Amy Scott wouldn't be the strongest of jockeys but it is to be hoped that she has gleaned confidence from a recent victory. There are no secrets about front-running Trinculo and he is sure to attempt to give a bold sighter from the boxes. Roodolph is less exposed than most and is watched in the market. Outer Hebrides is often backed without success while Chief Exec ran a race to forget on his most recent start and is surely better than the bare form suggests. Sometime hurdler, Viable appears best of the rest. Plenty of chances held but Torquemada looks best of the bunch.
