Plenty of these are closely matched on official ratings but Esperance comes here in good heart and is nominate as a tentative selection. His second to Tetragon in a similar contest over two furlongs further last time reads well in the context of this race and a repeat of that should see him go close. Princess Shoka might prove to be the selections biggest danger as most of the others either have little in the way of turf form or, quite simply, little in the way of any type of form. Paradise Valley is well held by the selection on Tetragon form, but Non Ultra's win came in a Nottingham seller, and more will be needed. All in all, Esperance must hold a very good chance.
