led after 1f, ridden over 1f out, ran on well
keen and prominent, ridden over 3f out, weakened over 2f out
held up in touch, ridden and hung left over 2f out, one paced final furlong
led for 1f, with winner, ridden and every chance over 1f out, no extra final furlong
Unless one the newcomers proves to be out of the ordinary, which seems unlikely, this is expected to go to Cedarberg, who should be too good for Willofcourse and Avenlea. The selection has found one too good in each of two starts so far, latterly when chasing home Parkview Love in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom, and a reproduction of previous form should suffice. Willofcourse ran promisingly on his Windsor debut, as did Richard Hannon's Avenlea at the same track. Both warrant respect from yards whose two-year-old runners have to be feared. Bold Wolf is probably the best of the debutantes but it will be a surprise if any of these are capable of troubling Cedarberg.
