Nonrunner
This appears to be the weaker of the two divisions and has an open look to it. HIGHLAND CADETT and One Cool Poppy should both appreciate dropping in trip with Rod Millman's runner getting the nod whilst cheekpieces may help Heliocentric improve. Highland Cadett made his handicap bow in a similar contest over a mile and a half at Salisbury and showed up well for a long way before fading having raced a shade keenly. That race probably had a little more strength in depth to it and he's fancied to go close. One Cool Poppy stayed on well to finish second over ten furlongs on her handicap bow but looked a non-stayer when stepped up a quarter of a mile in trip at Windsor. That run raises a slight doubt about her here but she may well be worth another chance. Heliocentric needs the headgear to work the oracle but this is an eminently more realistic task for him than the maiden in which he finished down the field at Chepstow. Amno Dancer is entitled to come on for his reappearance and is another that could figure but preference is for Highland Cadett.
