MARGOT DID won in style at Newbury on her debut and she will be trying to follow up here, whilst Novabridge and Al Burkaan could provide a challenge. Margot Did had a comfortable victory last time out in her first start and beat fifteen other horses. Hayley Turner retains the ride and with potentially a lot more to come from this filly, she is our selection for this contest. Novabridge won well in two races out of three in April. Andrew Haynes has a decent record at Yarmouth with two-year olds and therefore this horse should be respected. It is worth checking any significant market movement for Al Burkaan, but this one is best watched on first run out for Ed Dunlop. An interesting jockey booking catches the eye, but on pedigree Al Burkaan may need a mile rather than this shorter trip. Joyously has been relatively consistent in recent runs and is tried at 6f for only the second time. Sister June ran poorly on debut and did not settle, so there may be more to come from her. Our preference is for Margot Did who ran so well on her first outing.
