POSE is taken to follow up from his recent win at the expense of Basle and Requisite. The selection ran six times as a two-year-old last season without success; however he wasted no time in getting into the winners enclosure on his first run at three at Salisbury last month. He won nicely that day and ought to come on for the outing and in doing so he can win again for his connections. Basle is lightly raced having run four times, winning half of them. His strike rate is second to none and with four pounds more to carry after winning at Ffos Las last month he is sure to give his supporters another good run for their money. Requisite has more experience than most and won well at Yarmouth on his penultimate outing. Connections tried to win again before the handicapper had a chance to reassess his mark and in doing so he finished third. He is now five pounds higher in the weights and as a result will find life tougher from now on. Pose is on the upgrade and gets the vote.
